Dr Affleck was very accommodating and understanding of my wishes in relation to treatment for my acne. I had had difficulties for years and tried every possible route on the NHS but nothing was working. I was apprehensive about taking Roaccutane but Dr Affleck explained thoroughly all side effects and gave me all the relevant information to make an informed decision which made me feel much more reassured and confident. I appreciate especially that he made it as easy as possible for me to receive treatment even though I was a student at St Andrews and needed to travel into Dundee - my treatment was adjusted in a way that I could manage it alongside my studies which made a massive difference. I am delighted with the outcome of the treatment and I am very thankful to Dr Affleck's for his flexibility and kindness.

The consultation was conducted well, I was able to explain what had been troubling me with my skin and the doctor listened well. They then proceeded to ask questions to try and figure out the right course of action to take. I was happy with the outcome and am confident going forward. The doctor was responsible, helpful and reassuring.

Relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Doctor was receptive (to questions), patient, thorough, attentive and informative throughout my appointment. Careful examination resulted in a medical procedure which was conducted in a professional, efficient manner. The doctor explained process clearly and concisely, providing advice regarding possible side effects and how to protect / maintain area after remedial action completed. Positive experience all round. Recommend doctor. Would definitely consider using Health Clinic again.
